Common questions
Where is my data, and how do I back it up?
Everything stays on your iPhone and is included in your normal iCloud or computer backup. For a copy you can keep yourself, open Settings in the app and choose Export backup: it creates a JSON file you can save to Files or send wherever you like.
The app closed in the middle of a roast. Is it lost?
No. The roast is saved as you go, and the next time you open the app it reopens with the timer, readings and events you had logged. The timer counts from the moment you tapped Charge, so it is still right.
I tapped a milestone by mistake.
Until you tap Drop, press and hold Yellow or First crack to log it again at the current time, or to remove it. A single tap on a milestone that is already logged does nothing, so a stray tap cannot move it.
Can I connect a Bluetooth temperature probe?
Not yet. Temperatures are entered by hand on the keypad; you can backdate a reading by 10 or 30 seconds if you type it in late.
Does the app cost anything?
No. It is free, with no in-app purchases, no ads and no account.
