Privacy Policy

CAFESSIO Roaster for iPhone (bundle ID com.cafessio.roastertool) is a coffee roasting log. This policy explains what happens to your information. The short version: nothing is sent to us or to anyone else, because the app never connects to the internet.

What we collect

Nothing.

The app contains no networking code, no analytics or crash-reporting library, no advertising SDK and no third-party service of any kind. We have no server and no account system, and we never see your data.

What the app stores on your iPhone

Everything you create stays in the app’s own storage on your device:

• Your roasts: temperature readings, events, ratings, notes and cupping scores
• Your recipes and their versions
• Your green coffee lots, including origin, price and remaining weight
• Your roasters and their settings
• Your preferences, such as theme and units

Deleting the app deletes all of it.

iCloud and device backups

Like most iPhone apps, the app’s data is included in the standard backup your iPhone makes to iCloud or to your computer, if you have backups turned on. That backup is made by Apple, not by us, under Apple’s privacy policy, and we cannot access it. You can manage backups in your iPhone’s Settings.

Exports and sharing

You can export your data as a JSON backup file, and you can share an image of a roast curve. Each of these only happens when you ask for it, through the standard iOS share sheet, and the file goes only where you choose to save or send it. Once it leaves the app, it is under your control, not ours.

What we do not collect or request

• No account, sign-in, name or email address
• No location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone
• No notifications
• No advertising identifier and no tracking
• No analytics or crash reporting
• No advertising
• No in-app purchases

We do not sell, share, rent or broker your information. There is nothing to sell.

Payments

The app is free and has no in-app purchases. The App Store collects information about app downloads independently of this app, under Apple’s own privacy policy.

Children

The app is not directed at children, and it collects no information from anyone, children included.

Your rights

Because your data never reaches us, there is no request to make of us:

• To see your data: open the app
• To take it with you: export a backup in Settings
• To delete it: delete individual records, or delete the app

We cannot access, correct or delete your information on your behalf, because we do not have it.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this document — adding network access, analytics, crash reporting or purchases — this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
