Understand, brew and enjoy better coffee
CAFESSIO is a Mexican coffee publication and shop. Everything is written in Mexican Spanish first. This page, and any page under /en, exists only when there is a complete, reviewed English version — we do not machine-translate the site.
What is here
What you can use without reading Spanish
Numbers, formulas and tables are language-independent. These sections are useful even if you read the surrounding text in Spanish.
Ten working coffee calculators
Ratio, cups, espresso, cold brew, dilution, cost per cup in MXN, extraction yield, unit conversion, monthly consumption and estimated caffeine. Each one publishes its formula, assumptions and limits.
Spanish page →Seven brewing methods
Espresso, V60, French press, AeroPress, Chemex, moka pot and cold brew, each with a sourced starting recipe and how to move it.
Spanish page →Mexican coffee
Where it grows, which varieties, how it is processed and what to expect in the cup, using Mexican government and industry sources.
Spanish page →Translations
Fully translated pages
No article has a finished English translation yet, so no article pages are published under /en. When one is ready and reviewed, it appears here and declares reciprocal hreflang with its Spanish original.
Publishing half-translated pages would create duplicates competing with the Spanish originals, which helps nobody.
How we work
Every technical claim cites a primary source and shows the date we checked it. We publish ranges rather than tidy round numbers, we label opinion as opinion, and we say when a recipe has not been tested in our own lab yet.
